Prepping Details Supplied
Prep service includes a Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets document with the following:
- Characters – name, age, gender, race, info about voice and accent, and for main characters includes personality and other info to help you with casting and character’s journey.
- Characters by Chapter – a chart to let you see who speaks when and where at a glance. Especially helpful for dual narration (lets you see which characters only appear in your chapters!) and books with tons of characters.
- Chapters – page count, word count, which characters speak and a summary of what happens in the chapter.
- Pronunciation – a list of names, places, words or phrases that require pronunciation support or translation, or that are quirky or made up.
- Basic Accent and Foreign Language support – A list of dialogue requiring accent work, and translation plus a list of words/passages with foreign language content.
- Research – for simple-topic nonfiction, research for key concepts where needed.
- Please note that extensive research or accent/language support could increase the rate – we’d figure that out before starting your project!
